Heart-rate monitor: Our head wearable is the perfect platform for heart rate monitoring. For example, the heart rate sensor in the eyewear can be in the nose pad and maintain steady contact for continuous monitoring. In another example, the sensor in the earbud can fit comfortably in the user’s ear, which has rich blood perfusion enabling heart monitoring. The sensor can provide proactive alerts, too, by informing the user if their heart rate is too fast or slow, or when the pace of exercise is just right.

Sun sensor: Our eyewear equipped with sun sensor tracks exposure to UV rays and alerts wearers to potential overexposure. The eyewear tracks cumulative sun exposure and proactively warns the user when it’s time to reapply sunscreen, leaving the user free to enjoy their outdoor activities without worry.

Radiation: A radiation detector incorporated into our eyewear can sense hazardous radiation, such as x-rays. The wearer can receive information related to the measurements via a display on an eyewear. Via the radiation detector, the head wearable can issue a warning to the user when the radiation is approaching harmful levels, so she can decide whether to continue with her activities or take appropriate protective measures.

Temperature sensor: Our earbud includes body temperature sensors to help users determine optimal exercise conditions. The sensor can monitor and track temperature change over time, and provide alerts for abnormal measurements, adding an extra layer of protection in hot environments.

Personalized Notifications: Our wearable includes cellular connectivity. The wearable rings only if the user is currently wearing it, and the user can choose a do-not-disturb mode when they go for a run. Such solution allows each user to tailor the wearable to their outdoor schedule and lifestyle.
